    ASRC Federal - Vistronix is currently seeking an experienced Network Engineer for a role on one of our subcontracts.  This full time position affords the successful candidate the opportunity to work in an engaging, high-tech development environment, working with an excellent team and customer base. 

    Qualifications

    • Required - Shall have ten (l0) years experience in the planning, design, development, implementation and technical support of multi-platform, multi-system networks to encompass diagnosing network performance shortcomings and designing and implementing performance improvements.
    • Desired - Ten (10) years experience designing and implementing network solutions for complex, high performance systems composed of UNIX or LINUX based hardware platforms.
    • Desired - Significant experience provisioning and sustaining network infrastructures and have experience developing, operating, and managing networks required to operate in a secure PKI, IPSEC, or VPN enabled environment.
    • Desired - Able to understand routing protocols, QOS, be able to implement traffic shaping and policing on the network, and understand IPSEC tunneling. 
    • A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science is highly desired which will be considered equivalent to two (2) years experience.

    Specialized Experience Desired:

    • Desired - Significant experience with CISCO network equipments,

    • Desired – Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certified at the Professional level in Network Security (CCSP), Network Design (CCDP), and/or Routing & Switching (CCNP).

    This position requires an active Security Clearance.

                                                               

    Positions require a Top Secret security clearance, based on current background investigation (SBI), as well as the favorable completion of polygraph.  Clearance and polygraph processing will be completed by the U.S. Government.
