    ASRC Federal - Vistronix is currently seeking a Network Engineer for a role on one of our subcontracts.  This full time position affords the successful candidate the opportunity to work in an engaging, high-tech development environment, working with an excellent team and customer base. 

     

    Responsibilities

    Provides input to the design of the organization network architecturew.  Configures and maintains organization's network diagrams and accreditations.  Supports mission architecture to include distribution and support systems (UPS).

    Qualifications

    Candidate must meet the following lobor category requirements:

     

    2 or more years experience with the following:

     

    • Cisco LAN switches (for example, 3000 , 2500, 3600 and 7500 series routers; and Catalyst 3500 and 6500 series switches; CISCO PIX series firewalls, Cisco NetRanger IDS, and CiscoWorks 2000 management suite), or
    • Brocade Ethernet switches (such as 648 or FESX448) , or
    • Arista switches (such as 7000 series).
    • Resolving complex network problems, and operating network analyzers, WAN test equipment, and network simulators.
    • Implementing 10 GbE, Gigabit Ethernet, Fast Ethernet, terminal servers, and NTP servers.
    • Performing network security architecture, design, and integration on UNIX, NT, or other O/S configurations.
    • High speed networks and multi-casting.
    • Shared storage via SANs and NASs, including specific experience with Dell, HP and/or EMC hardware.
    • Providing guidance and direction to the developers and test team members in interfacing program components to the development and test networks.
    • Assisting IA personnel regarding network security and SSP maintenance. Ensuring that the network configuration meets all IA requirements.
    • Installation and integration of all network components.
    • Supporting/maintaining/administering program networks and servers.
    • Monitoring network performance.

    This position requires an active Security Clearance.

     

    Positions require a Top Secret security clearance, based on current background investigation (SBI), as well as the favorable completion of polygraph.  Clearance and polygraph processing will be completed by the U.S. Government.
