We are currently seeking a Project / Delivery Manager to work on-site in Rockville, MD.

Responsibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Create Project Management weekly status reports, create balanced scorecard, coordinate and plan meetings, including documenting meeting discussions and action items
  • Overseeing the delivery of all services under this contract and working collaboratively with a variety of stakeholders and other vendor partners to continuously identify improvements, drive efficiency, and ensure effective Contractor performance.
  • This individual shall also act as the on-site escalation point of contact for all contractual and delivery related discussions.
  • The Project Manager is expected to possess a combination of business and technical skills as well as experience including program-level oversight and direct infrastructure-related operations support.
  • Possess experience helping organizations implement leading practices, such as supporting commercial entities with infrastructure improvement efforts.
  • Provide a Concept of Operations which includes a roles and responsibility matrix and processes and management controls
  • This individual shall serve as the Contractor’s primary contact for the Government personnel.
  • Ensure the Contractor’s performance complies with all contractual and task order requirements and shall act as the primary point of contact for the work to be performed.
  • Ensure that all necessary operational personnel are available on call for standard working hours.
  • during non‐working hours to meet emergent requirements.
  • Track and manage overall project status so that project milestones are met and that change activity is properly documented
  • Manage projects to include allocation of resources, budget tracking and status reports
  • Provide Program Monthly Status Reports to internal business leaders as well as external stakeholders
  • Provide separate weekly Technical Status Meetings (TSMs) with the COR, Technical Government Managers and other key Government personnel
  • Provide a Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) for all assigned technical activities (including documentation development)
  • Develop and maintain a Risk Management Plan, develop and maintain a Risk Register, provide and maintain Action Items organized in a formal Tracking System identifying various, specific requirements.
  • Develop and maintain an integrated Project Schedule that includes tasks, dependencies, resources and interrelationships
  • Develop, maintain and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all major functional areas in the task order or as required by the Government
  • Develop and maintain a Communication Plan that identifies all stakeholders (Government, contractors and others), communication methods and frequency;
  • Develop and maintain a Quality Assurance Plan that describes the principles, processes and procedures for ensuring all delivered products and services satisfy contractual agreements, meet or exceed quality standards, and comply
  • with approved SDLC processes;
  • Utilize ITIL/ISO/CMMI-based certified tools as a part of an integrated enterprise toolset solution
  • Write technical proposals and review proposals for technical integrity, quantification of risk, and strategic direction.

Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related degree
  • 10+ years of information technology experience, with a strong emphasis on the Topic Areas required per the scope of work
  • ITIL Foundations Level Certification.
  • Expected to possess direct experience working collaboratively with clients to address issues and opportunities as they arise.
  • Must possess a combination of business and technical skills as well as experience including program-level oversight and direct infrastructure-related operations support.
  • Must possess experience helping organizations implement leading practices, such as supporting commercial entities with infrastructure improvement efforts.
  • A government security clearance is required for this position

 

PLUS SKILLS

  • Experience working on government contracts

 

Candidates will be subject to a government background investigation and must meet eligibility criteria for access to classified information. U.S. Citizenship is required.
