We are currently seeking a Remedy Systems Engineer to work on-site in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area/ Oklahoma City, OK / or Atlantic City, NJ.

Responsibilities

  • Provide System Administration Services on Remedy tracking system
  • Perform data analysis, as well as, troubleshoot and correct application-created data anomalies and corrupt database tables sites.
  • Have a working knowledge of Remedy or maintenance tracking systems used in the tracking of all software related trouble reports, change proposals and fleet assistance request actions.
  • Provide advanced technical support and administration of systems including but not limited to VMWARE ESX Server, LINUX, UNIX, and Windows environments.
  • Administer and configure all versions of VMware virtual software and infrastructure.
  • Must possess the ability to troubleshoot issues via remote access using SSH.
  • Works Closely with senior computer specialists to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Demonstrate a solid understanding of networking protocols TCP/IP, DNS, SFTP, HTTP, SSH.
  • Demonstrate a working knowledge with various storage technologies such as SAN, NAS, or RAID.
  • Create and modify technical documentation. 

Qualifications

  • 3 years of experience in the principle responsibilities listed.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or other engineering discipline
  • Experience with Remedy Ticket through the Remedy system on submissions and status for technical support
  • Self-motivated with an ability to learn quickly.

 

Preferred

  • Knowledge and experience with government clients/environments

 

Candidates will be subject to a government background investigation and must meet eligibility criteria for access to classified information. U.S. Citizenship is required.
