We are currently seeking a Network Administrator to work on-site in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area/ Oklahoma City, OK / or Atlantic City, NJ.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver timely and high quality solutions to customer problems and requests focusing on root cause analysis, prevention, knowledge transfer, and opportunity generation.
  • Manage escalations and sub-cases to ensure timely and high quality resolution of all issues.
  • Develop and implement strategies for providing facilitative support resulting in fewer incidents, increased availability, or accelerated deployments. 
  • Initiate and participate in triage meetings to share knowledge with other engineers and to efficiently resolve customer problems.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline
  • Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert Certification required
  • At least 10 years of active directory engineering & administration experience while meeting expertise requirements. 
  • Knowledge and proven experience Windows 2012, Windows 2008
  • Knowledge and proven experience Group Policy configuration and management
  • In-depth experience with Microsoft Deployment Toolkit
  • In-depth experience troubleshooting operating system performance problems
  • Understanding of the modernization of technology and the ability to learn fast
  • Must be self-motivated with the ability to work independently and part of a small team
  • Experience providing support in a Federal government environment preferred

 

Preferred

  • Knowledge and experience with government clients/environments

 

Candidates will be subject to a government background investigation and must meet eligibility criteria for access to classified information. U.S. Citizenship is required.
